I took a long vacation to Thailand and have been enjoying all this great country has to offer. With the combination of good food, good weather and amazing sites to visit. That in combination with very friendly people that make you feel like a king. Thailand has some amazing beaches and it is easy to dream your self away when you are here. I have managed to take my vacation late this year and l had some weeks saved up from last year, so l will be here now until end of September. I will try to discover and experience as much as l can.
I don’t want this vacation to end ever, but l know that reality will catch up with me sooner than later. And when l get back home, the days have already gotten significant shorter and the Swedish summer has already passed. The Swedish summer is wonderful and l think it has an optimal combination of heat, sun and long days. But the winter is a bit harder to handle, especially the short days and all the darkness. So when l get back it will almost be time to change the tyres on the car from summer tyres to winter tyres. That signifies that the winter is here to stay for at least four to five months. So it is not the fact that l need to change to winter tyres that makes sad, but the fact that l will have to wait so many months to see the sun. To feel like l feel now when l can lay on the beach, drink and eat at a very low cost. So maybe the best way is to skip the winter tyre period and move to Thailand, if not they it is just to accept life and wait for next year. And maybe the day l retire, l can skip the worst months and utilize the fact that l don’t have to go to work, by staying in a warm country and the pension goes much further here than in Sweden.
